Welcome to 1st grade! I hope you all had a wonderful summer. I am so excited to begin the 2019-2020 school year. This year we will build your love for reading, grow your math skills, become strong writers, and explore new learning in science, social studies, and health. We will also demonstrate each day what it means to be respectful, responsible, and safe students at Valerius!
This will be my third year teaching at Valerius, and I am looking forward to meeting all of you! I was born and raised in Minnesota and graduated from Minnesota State University- Mankato in 2015 with my degree in Elementary Education. I then continued my education to complete my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership in 2018. I taught 3rd and 4th grade in Minnesota prior to teaching 4th grade at Valerius for the past two school years. I’m very excited to begin teaching 1st grade this school year! In my free time I enjoy going to fitness classes, playing sports with friends, reading, and visiting my family. This summer my husband and I moved into our first house, traveled to Florida, and spent time with family in Minnesota.
Please always feel free to contact me by calling the school at (515)-457-6500 or through email at faulm@urbandaleschools.com.
