School Board Meetings

The Urbandale Community School District's Board of Directors invites you to attend and to participate in its meetings. The seven-member Board is elected to rotating three-year terms by District voters. Board members serve without pay. Elections are held annually on the second Tuesday in September. Board meetings are regularly held in the Council Chambers at Urbandale City Hall.

The Board has the responsibility for maintaining the educational program in the Urbandale District. They meet on the second and fourth Mondays, except in June, July, and August when only one meeting is held each month. The meetings, open to the public, begin at 7:00 P.M. during the regular year and 5:30 P.M. during the summer. Call the administration office, 457-5000, to verify location. Board agendas are on the website at www.urbandaleschools.com.
