Welcome to the Urbandale Community School District website.  Its purpose is to communicate information to the public about our district.

The Urbandale Community School District serves over 4,000 students in six elementary schools, one middle school and one comprehensive high school. We serve an increasingly diverse student population where over 50 different languages are spoken.  We believe this diversity is a strength, as it provides all students the opportunity to learn with and from students from around the world.

In Urbandale we are focused on the continual improvement of every aspect of our district, with our main focus on student learning. We are proud of the educational opportunities provided in our district and are pleased to have the support of so many parents, community members, and businesses. A successful school district, such as Urbandale, is the result of an effective staff, supportive parents, and a vibrant community all working together to support our youth.
