615 – At-Risk Student Program

The District shall provide special assistance to students who have difficulty mastering the language, academic, cultural and social skills necessary to reach their educational potential.  The District shall maintain a program which includes strategies for identifying at-risk students.  The District’s program shall encourage and provide an opportunity for students at risk to achieve their potential and obtain their high school diplomas.  The District shall incorporate educational program goals for at-risk students into its comprehensive school improvement planning process, including objectives, activities, cooperative arrangements with other service agencies and groups, and strategies for parental involvement.
