647 – Research Request

Anyone requesting to conduct research must complete the Research Request Form and submit to the Urbandale Community School District Office at 11152 Aurora Avenue, Urbandale, Iowa 50322. Any person requesting to conduct research that relates to curriculum, instruction, or assessment must first get approval from the Director of Teaching & Learning to ensure alignment with the District processes. All other request must be submitted directly to the Superintendent of Schools for approval.


No reference shall be made in the research that could identify District students or staff. While approval may be given to the researcher, no individual staff member or student shall be forced to participate; each may opt out on an individual basis. Upon request, an abstract of the findings will be provided by the researcher to the building principal and Superintendent as soon as the findings are available.
