About Olmsted
Welcome to the Olmsted Elementary School web site. This site is maintained by Olmsted students and staff. Our Olmsted vision is Hand in Hand, Reaching Success. Our school is located at the corner of 72nd and Prairie in Urbandale. Olmsted has approximately 230 students in grades first through fifth, along with about 180 kindergarten students in the Kindergarten Center. The Kindergarten Center is the first Urbandale School experience for most Urbandale students.
About Me
Welcome to 4th grade. I have taught grades 1st through 8th and 4th grade is my favorite grade. We learn about the biomes of the world in connection with learning the regions of the United States. The highlight of 4th grade is our all day adventure to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. Watching children make the connection from classroom learning to the zoo is always a thrill. I am looking forward to another year with a new group of excited 4th graders.
