About Olmsted
Welcome to the Olmsted Elementary School web site. This site is maintained by Olmsted students and staff. Our Olmsted vision is Hand in Hand, Reaching Success. Our school is located at the corner of 72nd and Prairie in Urbandale. Olmsted has approximately 230 students in grades first through fifth, along with about 180 kindergarten students in the Kindergarten Center. The Kindergarten Center is the first Urbandale School experience for most Urbandale students.
About Me
Hello, I am Mark Lane and I serve as the principal at Olmsted Elementary. The 2012-2013 school year will be my fifth at Olmsted and my 17th in education. I feel incredibly lucky to work with our amazing students, staff and families.
