2022 Valerius Fun Run
The 2022 Valerius Elementary Fun Run will be held after lunch on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Frerichs Field. Students will walk to the field, have fun running laps on the track, and enjoy a snack. Families can attend to support our students at this fun event!This all-school run also serves as a fundraiser for the PTO.
Our fundraising goal is $8,000. Funds raised help us provide a t-shirt for each student, funding for field trips, school-wide enrichment programs, running club, and more for students throughout the year. Flock a Friend is back this year! Select the Flock a Friend $50 donation and send a flock of flamingos to your yard or a friend’s yard. Tentative Run Start Times (at Frerichs Field)
- 1st grade: 1:00pm
- Kindergarten: 1:15pm
- 2nd Grade: 1:30pm
- 3rd Grade: 1:45pm
- 4th Grade: 2:00pm
- 5th Grade: 2:15pm
Spectators and Volunteers
Family members are invited to join us and watch from the stands. Registered volunteers will be allowed on the field/track. Please note that there is no parking available at the High School. Parking is available across the street from Valerius or at Urbandale Baptist Church, 6501 NW Aurora Ave. **Students must walk back to Valerius after their Fun Run is over.
