Summer Food and Fun Program 2023!

The Summer Food Service Program was created to ensure children continue to receive nutritious meals during the summer when school is not in session. This program helps children 18 and under get the nutrition they need to learn, play, and grow through the summer months. Our Summer Food and Fun Program will be offered June 8, 2023 through August 10, 2023. Dates and times vary by location. No meals will be available July 3 - July 5 in observance of the holiday.

Local Mixed Veggies from Sno Pac Foods

UCSD students enjoyed delicious local mixed veggies from Sno Pac Foods with today's lunch! Located just under 4 hours from Urbandale High School in Caledonia, Minnesota, Sno Pac Foods has been a family ownded and operated farm and processing plant since 1900.

Celebrating National School Breakfast Week and Read Across America

April 8, 2022

UCSD Nutrition Services celebrated National School Breakfast Week and Read Across America February 28th - March 4th. Students who ate school breakfast were entered into a raffle with every meal counting as a ticket! Each elementary school was given three prize bundles for students to win. One of the prizes was a cookbook based on the story of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Congratulations to these lucky winners; we hope they'll have a blast create these fun recipes!
