*Update* Starting July 22- August 9 (weather permitting) Nutrition Services will also be offering lunch at the Lions Park Splash Pad located at 72nd St, NW Aurora Ave, Urbandale, IA from 10:45am – 11:05am.

The Summer Food Service Program was created to ensure that children continue to receive nutritious meals during the summer when they may not have access to school lunch or breakfast. Each year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture partners with local organizations like Urbandale Community Schools to provide free meals to children when school is out for the summer. 

This year, Summer Meals will be offered June 5th, 2024 through August 15th, 2024. Dates and times vary by location. No meals will be available July 3 through July 5 in observance of the holiday. Meals must be consumed on site and are provided on a first come, first serve basis. Dates and times subject to change. Follow UCSD Nutrition Services on Facebook or Twitter for updates.
