I graduated from Simpson College in 2001 with a double major in Biology and Education. I earned my master’s degree (M.S. in General Biology) from the University of Arizona in August 2010. I began my teaching career at Clarke Community High School in Osceola, Iowa. In the fall of 2004, I joined the facutly at Urbandale High School. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught Chemistry, Biology, Anatomy, and AP Biology. I began serving as an instructional coach for Urbandale High School in fall of 2021.
