On January 20, Olmsted Elementary students started their day with a sweet treat during the Breakfast, Books, and Buddies event. Olmsted students invited special adults (parents, grandparents, or friends) to join them for a fun morning of reading their favorite classroom books. With a towel or blanket to sit on, students and adults found the perfect spot around the school to share a story and spend quality time together. Hundreds of families enjoyed donut holes, coffee, fresh fruit, and granola bars as they nestled into their favorite nook with their favorite books.
