On May 10th, Urbandale Middle School welcomed incoming 6th grade students to take a tour of the school. Current UMS students served as tour guides as they spent the afternoon sharing about the school, answering questions, and helping incoming 6th graders get to know the school building. Incoming 9th grade students had a similar opportunity at the high school when they visited on May 18. Current UHS students served a similar role as they provided tours to incoming freshmen. Helping all students feel comfortable in their spaces, especially during transition years, is incredibly important. We thank our UMS and UHS students and staff for all of their work in creating these memorable experiences and welcoming students into your buildings. #proudofU
