Students Represent UHS at State Career Development Conference

Six Urbandale iJAG (Iowa Jobs for America’s Graduates) students qualified for the State Career Development Conference on March 23 at the Iowa Events Center. The iJAG program teaches 37 core competencies comprised of six skill sets: personal skills, leadership skills, communication skills, job attainment skills, job success skills and career development skills. 

The qualifiers from Urbandale High School include:

Beltrain Nshizirungu, Simion Hendricks, Finn Sanders for Creative Decision Making, Yara Nasser for Career Preparation, Ryan Knight for Prepared Speaking, and Justin Carper for Financial Literacy.
