Interdisciplinary courses at Urbandale High School are courses that work toward conscious integration of content and skills from multiple disciplines. The standards from multiple curriculum areas are distinct, yet blended to create a new learning experience of the topic. Most of these courses are interdisciplinary because they address topics that are too broad or complex to be dealt with adequately in a single discipline.
